Two exacting deliveries.
Gallery Dod delivered two separate annual commissions within the same master project across the Paddock Club and Team Villas at Yas Marina Circuit.
The responsibility extended beyond execution: feasibility study, design planning, designer acquisition, full design IP purchase and transfer, project scheduling, safety planning, equipment hire, safety training and hand-painted mural delivery.

The first delivery.
A defining gesture.
Gallery Dod undertook the same complete remit, from feasibility, design planning and full design IP purchase and transfer through scheduling, safety, equipment, training and mural execution. The monumental staircase became a focal point within the wider Paddock Club and Team Villas commission.

The execution demanded a level of control appropriate to a live, high-profile venue. Full-height access, night shifts and exacting coordination allowed the design to hold together across every level and viewpoint.

Gallery Dod returned for a second separate commission within the same master project, carrying the same end-to-end responsibility into another demanding race-week delivery.
The operational challenge
A working environment
that never stood still.
The commission progressed while Formula 1 advance teams, hospitality contractors, technical crews and venue operations prepared the circuit for the final race. Gallery Dod’s schedule had to remain precise while access, movement and priorities changed around it.
Every elevation required a workable sequence, with crews, equipment, safety controls and painting windows coordinated without losing the integrity of the overall design.

Access was part
of the design.
Scaffolds, scissor lifts and boom lifts were selected and scheduled by zone. Equipment movement, safety inductions and working positions were resolved as part of the production plan, not treated as an afterthought.
Paddock Club
One visual language.
Many architectural conditions.
The design had to retain rhythm and continuity across long elevations, doors, cameras, lighting, glazing and changing working distances. Translation happened directly against the building, measured, adjusted and resolved by hand.

A founder-led delivery model kept creative, technical and operational decisions connected. Briefings, daily access checks and live design review gave each specialist crew a clear scope while allowing the programme to respond to the site.

At distance, the work reads as one continuous architectural gesture. Up close, it is the accumulation of thousands of controlled decisions: line, edge, proportion, colour and the consistency of one hand-painted surface after another.
