Gallery Dod led the delivery of a monumental mural across Tabreed’s Al Maryah facility in Abu Dhabi. The commissioned artwork was carried across an elevated field of metal louvres, an architectural surface whose depth, repetition and exposure made every creative decision a production decision.
The remit covered feasibility and condition reporting, design consultation, programme and access planning, site safety, material procurement, artist and specialist crew management, training and full mural execution.

An image built
into the building.
At street scale, the surface dissolves into thousands of horizontal slats. At distance, the artwork resolves into a monumental herd, held across the façade as a single architectural gesture.

The work had to retain form, proportion and presence across a deeply layered façade. Gallery Dod developed the execution around the architecture, protecting the artist’s intent while meeting the realities of scale, access and exposure.

Work at height
Thirty-five metres.
No room for approximation.
Access positions, shift sequences and safety controls were planned as one coordinated programme. Multiple boom lifts worked across separate elevations while the facility’s operational restrictions remained in force.
Night operations

Night windows extended the programme without relaxing the standard. Lighting, access, crew movement and material control remained deliberate across every elevation.

Complexity held

Condition reporting, controlled access, daily briefings, site safety, equipment planning and specialist training were embedded in the delivery, not added around it.
Gallery Dod connected the creative, technical and operational decisions so the work could progress with clarity inside a live industrial environment.
