What happened
A façade became
a city-scale canvas.
This Ajman commission carried Tarsila Schubert’s artwork across a tall, highly visible building surface. The image needed to read from the street while retaining the character and detail of the original work at close range.
Working with project partner Evolve, Gallery Dod connected the artist’s intent with the practical realities of the façade: enlargement, surface response, access, sequence, materials and day-to-day delivery at height.
How Gallery Dod delivered it
Scale is creative.
So is the plan.
Large murals are not simply small images made bigger. Sightlines change, marks become physical movements and each working position affects what can be completed next.
The production was structured around those realities, allowing the artwork to grow coherently across the building while the crew moved safely and efficiently through the surface.
